Summer is in full swing here in the Bay Area! There a numerous events to enjoy throughout the area this month, including a variety of festivals, a celebration of the seasonal colors throughout the state, and a taste of the Bayou, right here in California. Here are the best events June has to offer.
Filoli’s Annual Flower Show

Celebrate the colors of California at the annual Flower Show at Filoli
. The annual event is the premier showcase of the Bay Area’s most talented floral designers. On top of taking in the amazing floral displays, guests can also enjoy afternoon tea in the historic garden’s visitor center.
Sunnyvale Art, Wine, and Music Festival

Listen to amazing live music while sipping on delicious wine at one of the Bay Area’s largest outdoor festivals. This annual event features art from more than 350 local artists, along with a variety of delicious food and drink options. The Sunnyvale Art, Wine and Music Festival
also gives attendees a chance to listen to some of the best bands in the area on a large, professional stage.
Bayou on the Bayfront
Facebook HQ, 1 Hacker Way, Parking Lot 14, Menlo Park
Enjoy a little bit of the bayou in the Bay Area at Facebook headquarters this month. The event will feature live jazz and zydeco bands, along with delicious cocktails and cajun cuisine. All proceeds from Bayou on the Bayfront
will benefit local community nonprofit organizations.
San Mateo County Fair

With free concerts, tons of entertainment for the kids, an amazing carnival midway, and a huge selection of delicious food, there is something for everyone at the San Mateo County Fair. This year’s entertainment includes TLC, Sugar Ray, John Michael Montgomery, and Gossamer Magic. Family friendly activities are abundant throughout the fair, as well, including a petting zoo, Chinese acrobats, and a live show featuring animals from a tropical rainforest.
Bark ‘N Brew Fest
West Washington Park, 850 Burlingame Avenue, Burlingame
Bring your four-legged friends to West Washington Park to enjoy craft beer, wine, and cider while supporting the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA. An adoption booth will be also available for attendees who are interested in adoption. All proceeds from the Bark ‘N Brew Fest
will go toward the Humane Society’s Hope Program, which gives the shelter’s neediest animals a second chance at life.
Saratoga Blossom Festival

Step back in time at the Saratoga Blossom Festival
, where guests can enjoy music of the 1930s and 1940s, vintage cars, and craftspeople of yesteryear. This historical event, hosted by the Saratoga Historical Foundation, will offer unique fun for the entire family. In addition to a children’s area, families are invited to tour the orchard, sample apricots, browse works from local artists, and enjoy delicious food and drinks.
